Bright blue with diamond hour markers is easily the most colorful dial the Datejust 126234 was ever offered with. Blue against a white gold bezel stays cool throughout, which is not the case with the yellow or Everose versions. The stones sit on a saturated ground and read as points of light rather than as part of the color. It is the dial that makes the strongest case for a white gold fluted bezel over any alternative.
The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel with a fluted White Gold bezel sitting directly above it. Diamonds in gold settings mark the hours across a bright blue dial with no printed indices at all. A Cyclops lens magnifies the date at three, and baton hands travel over the sunburst surface below.
