Description
Setting diamonds at the hours on a black and golden dial inside a ceramic bezel is a very specific choice. The ceramic keeps the outer edge matte and dark while the dial does everything on the Daytona that reflects. That inverts the usual arrangement entirely, where a bright bezel is used to frame a rather quieter dial inside it. In solid gold on the Oysterflex the whole watch ends up unusually concentrated toward its own center instead.
A fixed black ceramic bezel with its molded tachymetric scale caps a 40 mm case in Yellow Gold. Diamonds in gold settings replace the hour markers on a bright black dial with golden counter rings. Small seconds sit at six o’clock, with chronograph counters at three and nine and center seconds sweeping. The Oysterflex bracelet uses flexible metal blades under elastomer, closing on a folding Oysterlock clasp with Glidelock.
