Description
Mint green with Roman numerals under a fluted Everose bezel is a combination that should not work on paper. A pastel dial, a formal numeral layout and grooved pink gold have very little in common with each other. In practice the softness of the green keeps the fluting from looking heavy, which resolves most of the problem. Rolex kept this dial in the Datejust range only briefly before the reference itself was withdrawn from the catalog entirely.
Stainless Steel makes up the 36 mm case, with a fluted Everose Gold bezel sitting above it. A mint green dial carries applied Roman numerals, and the date at three sits under a Cyclops lens. Baton hands cross a sunray finish that pales toward white where direct light reaches the surface. The Jubilee bracelet places Everose Gold centers between Stainless Steel outer links, on a folding Oysterclasp with a comfort extension.
