Description
Taking the fully set shell dial onto the flat Oyster bracelet leaves the watch decorated above and plain below. It is the least balanced of the four Datejust 126281 builds, and probably the most interesting one for that reason. The shell and the two sets of stones do absolutely everything, while the bracelet contributes almost nothing at all. Very few were ordered this way, since anyone paying that much attention to the dial usually wanted the Jubilee too.
A diamond-set Everose Gold bezel sits over a Stainless Steel case measuring 36 mm across the middle. The dial is white mother-of-pearl with diamonds in gold settings standing at each of the hours. The date appears at three beneath a Cyclops lens, and baton hands run across the shell. Three-piece solid links build the Oyster bracelet, Everose Gold at the center, closing on a folding Oysterclasp with an extension.
